Marie-Luc has been a part-time resident of Grand Manan since 2007 and enthusiastically welcomes the opportunity to become actively involved in the advocacy and delivery of healthcare to Island residents.
Marie-Luc has been in clinical practice as a Registered Kinesiologist for over fifteen years working primarily in rehabilitation medicine: orthopaedic - pre/postoperative care, cardiac, concussion management, spine mechanics and related injuries as well as sports injuries.
Marie-Luc offers a diverse skill set using a variety of manual therapy techniques including soft tissue release, exercise prescription as well as multiple taping strategies, such as traditional KiniesioTaping.
Marie-Luc has worked with diverse populations ranging from general to Olympic athletes, and communities ranging from small children, teens, adults, and seniors dealing with effects of chronic disease or injury - work related, sports, etc.
Marie-Luc studied at both George Brown College and the University of Toronto for undergraduate and postgraduate clinical training.
Jessica Dexter
Osteopathic Manual Practitioner, Registered Massage Therapist, and Science Kinesiologist Graduate.
Jessica graduated from UNB in 2013 with a Bachelor’s degree in Science Kinesiology. From there, she
worked as a Kinesiologist in a preventative health clinic for a few years until she went back to school to
become an RMT and Osteopath. Jessica has over 5 years experience working as a registered massage
therapist in a multi-disciplinary clinic in Moncton. She became certified as an Osteopathic Manual
Practitioner in April of 2023.
Jessica is experienced in treating low back and pelvic pain, jaw dysfunction, menstrual issues, chronic
digestive issues, chronic headaches/migraines, postural pain, respiratory limitations, and various other
ailments. She uses a variety of techniques, such as, cranial-sacral therapy, myofascial release, bony
manipulations, stretching, and is always educating her clients on how to reach better overall health and
long-term success.
